About the Ghostball Trainer

The Ghostball Trainer is designed for standard 2.25-inch American pool balls. It helps players create consistent, repeatable shot setups while learning to visualize the ghostball position and shot angle.

Two positioning holes allow donuts (reinforcement label) to be placed directly on the table cloth, creating reference points that make it easy to recreate the same shot during practice. Guide lines spaced at 15-degree increments provide additional references for studying and setting up different shot angles.

Felt backing helps prevent the trainer from slipping while positioning the tool and placing donuts.

Optional Case

The Ghostball Trainer is available with an optional protective case designed specifically for the trainer and its accessories. The case provides dedicated storage for the Ghostball Trainer and sheets of reinforcement labels.

The case keeps the trainer and reinforcement labels together while helping protect them from damage during transportation to practice sessions, lessons, league nights, and tournaments.

How to Use

  1. Place the Ghostball Trainer flat on the table with the tool aligned toward the pocket you want to target.
  2. Place a donut through each of the two openings, positioning each label as close to the center of the opening as possible.
  3. Carefully remove the Ghostball Trainer, leaving both donuts in place.
  4. Place the object ball on the donut closest to the target pocket.
  5. The second donut represents the center of the ghostball position. Set up the cue ball and aim to send its center through the center of the ghostball donut.

The two donuts create a repeatable reference for both the object ball and ghostball positions, allowing the same shot to be set up and practiced consistently.
